Hei, I'm Annina

I design digital products with love.

From a governmental office to a hip agency to large corporations such as Nokia and Microsoft, I've been lucky enough to work and grow in different kinds of work environments. I’m currently a Senior Design Lead at Wolt (DoorDash), leading the Consumer Growth & Engagement design team. I focus on creating experiences that help people discover value, feel rewarded, and stay engaged - from loyalty programs and subscriptions to offers and in-app moments that make Wolt more delightful to use.

Before Wolt, I spent over nine years at Spotify, where I helped shape the future of audio listening and saw the company grow from around 300 people to over 6,000. During my time there, I managed a team of 11 designers and led Spotify’s Growth Design team. Later, as a Principal Designer, I got to dive deep into hands-on work and lead some of Spotify’s biggest bets - like redesigning the free tier and launching in India.

How I work

My favourite part of the design process is the beginning, where nothing is clear but everything is possible. However, my measure of success is what gets shipped.

I do like pretty decks, but I am driven by what ends up being built and shipped. To increase the chances of a high-quality outcome, it’s crucial to nail the first steps of the process to ensure that the team is solving the right problem and in the right way. Everything goes more smoothly when key people have the same information and a chance to contribute to the hypotheses that designers explore solutions for. Agreeing on what is built as the MVP is typically the most challenging part, but it gets easier when the decision-makers have a shared vision that designers are best equipped to make tangible.

I love face to face workshops but feel comfortable facilitating design sprints remotely as well.
